Nationally, the NAACP Legal Department maintains an active docket of Civil Rights cases, frequently in conjunction with a team of cooperating lawyers around the nation. These lawyers work daily in the courts alongside the Legal Department to address Civil Rights violations and forge the way in the fight to prevent the erosion of Civil Rights law across our nation.

The Culpeper Branch #7058 Legal Redress Committee is responsible for investigating all reported incidents submitted to the Branch. The Committee assists our residents and employees in obtaining relief for discriminate acts in Culpeper, Madison and Rappahannock Counties in the state of Virginia. We will carefully evaluate each complaint for evidence of racial, employment, education or housing discrimination. The committee does not offer legal advice or legal representation. Instead, the committee serves as a liaison between individuals needing help and organizations offering quality legal services in our communities. If you need immediate legal assistance, please contact a local attorney.
