Workshops, Panels, & Special Events

Education and community outreach are priorities for our branch. Each year, we host engaging workshops, panel discussions, lectures, and other special events to inform and enlighten community members. In 2024 and 2025, we are pleased to have offered six workshops on First Amendment rights and our Foundational Freedoms in partnership with the Smith Center for the Constitution at Montpelier. Other workshops, panel discussions, and forums have addressed the history of Juneteenth, the importance of equity in education, and how to prepare to run for public office, along with several events to introduce candidates for local and state offices to our members and the community.
